Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MortonApps, LLC (“MortonApps,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Hospice Apps website at hospiceapps.com (the “Site”). Hospice Apps is MortonApps’ family of purpose-built software tools for hospice agencies; its first product is Volunteer Tracker.

This policy covers the Site only — the marketing pages at hospiceapps.com. Each Hospice Apps product is operated on its own domain and has its own privacy terms governing the data processed there. If you are a customer of, or visitor to, Volunteer Tracker or another product, please refer to the terms presented on that product’s own site.

1. No Patient Data

Neither the Site nor any Hospice Apps product is designed to receive protected health information (PHI). The Site has no patient-facing features of any kind, and Hospice Apps products contain no patient fields by design. Please do not include patient information in any message you send us through the Site; if we receive any, we will delete it.

2. Information We Collect

The Site is a marketing site. It has no user accounts, no login, and no payment processing. The only way you provide personal information to us through the Site is by submitting our contact form. When you do, you provide:

Our hosting provider also processes a minimal amount of standard technical information automatically when you visit any website, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the timestamp of each request. This is used to operate and secure the Site. We do not run advertising, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking on the Site.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models, run targeted advertising, or build behavioral profiles for any third party.

4. Subprocessors

We rely on a small number of carefully chosen third-party providers to operate the Site. As of the date of this policy, they are:

Subprocessor Purpose Location
Cloudflare, Inc. Website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery, edge security, and DNS Global edge (US-primary)
Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SES) Delivering contact-form submissions to us by email United States

Contact-form submissions are delivered through MortonApps’ central forms service, which runs on the same providers listed above. We may add or change subprocessors over time; when we do, we will update this list.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

6. Data Retention

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to follow up on your inquiry and to maintain a record of the relationship for legitimate business purposes, generally not more than 24 months from our last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law. Standard server log data is retained on a rolling basis in accordance with our providers’ defaults.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12 below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to access and delete that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to limit our use of sensitive information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. International Data Transfers

MortonApps is based in the United States, and our subprocessors are primarily US-based. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards to protect such transfers where required by law.

9. Security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever experience a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
